![]() If you edit the database entry, you will have a drop down list to assign symbols to the catalog entry. It sounds like what you want to do is add items to SYMBOL2D. Could this be some sort of bug, or could I be missing something? If I can think of anything else I tried, I will post it here. I did also try copying a completely separate symbol with working attributes and modifying it, but that also did nothing. VSCR or HSCR) but that seemed to do nothing either. I've also tried adding a letter in front of the default entry in the attribute (ex. After placing the part in a schematic and clicking OK, however, the value in the WDBLKNAM attribute is seemingly removed, and the extended catalog info disappears. Strangely enough, placing the part and doing a catalog check BEFORE pressing OK shows all the information in the table. I should mention that doing a manual lookup does not work either, but doing a global search does. The latter two just default to the MISC_CAT table, and the former defaults to CR. ![]() I've tried changing the name of the symbol to begin with HCR, HSCR, and HSC. The problem seems to be, no matter what I do, the contents of this attribute are either ignored or deleted, which means that the catalog browser defaults to searching the CR category, based off of the symbol's name (HCR11t_SCR). I'm trying to create symbols that automatically search the SCR table in our catalog database, which means I need to use the WDBLKNAM attribute (since it's a three letter category). ![]()
